Account Manager – Diagnostics

Our client is a multi-national corporation who develop, market and supply cutting edge materials to a number of technology areas across the globe. To further strengthen their team, they are seeking an Account Manager – Diagnostics.


  • You will maintain, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies including strategic sales plans for key accounts
  • You will grow the sales network, increase visibility of the brand and uncover opportunities to expand business
  • You will identify and build business relationships with new accounts and further develop the opportunities at existing accounts
  • You will manage customer expectations in terms of quality, feasibility and timelines and take all initiatives for customer satisfaction
  • You will succeed on building long-term relationships contributing to the achievement of the sales revenue and the company’s growth
  • You will prepare price quotations and respond to customer requests in collaboration with technical support functions
  • You will align with international colleagues on marketing and sales activities
  • Represent the company and products at trade shows, conferences and exhibitions
  • Contribute information to the market strategy by monitoring competitive products and feedback from accounts
  • To support market launch activities for new products


  • You will have a Master or Degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, bio-engineering, chemistry or experience in the Life Science industry with a strong sales expertise
  • You will have experience in a B2B sales environment in the Life Sciences industry.
  • An indispensable asset is a network of European contacts in major Diagnostics companies
  • You combine a technical background with excellent sales skills
  • You will be fluent in English with additional European languages an asset
