Business Development Account Manager – Bioprocess

Our client is a leading global company in the development of highly functional materials and products in the biotechnology industry – this role can be home office based within Europe .

Responsibilities

  •  Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for accounts in Western Europe.
  • Developing and maintaining a key
  • Increasing the visibility of our client, seeking opportunities, and expanding business in your region.
  • Managing customer expectations in terms of quality, feasibility and
  • Excel in building long-term relationships contributing to the achievement of the sales revenue and the company’s ambitious
  • Engaging with all functions related to downstream processing within Biopharma
  • Preparing price quotations and respond to customer requests in collaboration with technical support.
  • Securing the business by following up the admin processes.
  • Aligning with US/Asian colleagues on marketing and sales activities.
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and
  • Monitoring competitive products and reactions from
  • Supporting market launch activities for our new products and roll out strategic business development plans.

Requirements 

  • A master’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering, chemistry or equal by experience with a strong sales expertise and passion.
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment in the Life Sciences industry, preferably in a Bioprocess/Biopharma manufacturing related field. Experience in Downstream Processing is an important asset.
  • Fluent English is a must, French and/or German are a plus
  • Customer- and result-oriented, a driven team player.
  • Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and value-based
  • Commitment to up to 40% of travel in the region
