Our client is a global bio-pharma company providing discovery, preclinical and translational platforms and services to advance oncology and immuno-oncology. To strengthen their site in Leiden they are looking for a Senior HR partner, this is a 360° HR position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all related employee life cycle operations, included but not limited to benefits, payroll processing in collaboration with payroll vendor, absences…
• Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development
• Drive employee engagement and retention strategies
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
• Guide ill employees considering “Wet Poortwachter”
• Oversee performance management processes and provide coaching to managers on effective performance management techniques
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
• Coordinate all recruitment across the site
• Analyse HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives
• Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives that support organisational growth and development
• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HRIS and other HR technology systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Fluent in both Dutch and English ​
