Regional Sales Manager

Our client is a leading international business and global provider of high-quality vacuum equipment. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their external sales team based in the East of Germany.


  • You will be responsible for an established territory’s sales across the East of Germany with strong existing business potential for further development
  • You are responsible for the management and coordination of sales activities by applying your knowledge of the organization, products and services
  • By utilizing your scientific vacuum background, you will successfully develop and facilitate the infiltration of strategic accounts within your territory, leading to increased business and profitability
  • You will be proactive and results orientated with measured success and effectively communicate market and competitor information to upper management
  • You will support and grow a profitable sales territory by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, actively identifying new business, potential customers and market opportunities
  • You will drive the business forward by providing customers with high level assistance through advanced selling skills, commercial, value-added engineering and supply chain management knowledge
  • Develop and facilitate an effective key account strategy, liaise daily with internal sales team and management to coordinate and review activities
  • Respond to customer requests for quotation, technical support, customer service etc. by effectively utilizing resources available
  • To become fully conversant with products within the company catalogue and keep up to date with new technological developments by attending regular training


  • Good communication skills with fluent speaking German and advanced-level English
  • A background in Scientific Vacuum Technology or Transferable knowledge and experience
  • A Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • You will also have Quality, H&S and ISO experience
  • Experience with MRP/ERP/CRM systems
